Privacy policy

Muziris LLC operates juuna, a product analytics service. This page covers two things: what this website collects, and how data is handled on the juuna instances we run for customers. Last updated 2026-07-28.

This website

  • Analytics: this site is measured with juuna itself, first-party, on our own instance. We see pages viewed, referrers (stripped of query strings), where on a page visitors click and how far they scroll, page performance (Core Web Vitals), coarse geography and network derived from IP, and browser/OS class. The IP itself is stored with raw events and pruned within about 90 days along with them. No third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, no data brokers, no session recording on this website.
  • The contact form: if you write to us we store what you submit (email, name, company, and your message) solely to reply to you. It is never sold, shared, or added to a marketing list.
  • Payments: subscriptions are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store what running your subscription requires: the billing email, plan, and Stripe's identifiers for your checkout, customer and subscription.
  • Cookies & storage: one first-party session cookie, only if you sign in, plus a random first-party identifier in your browser's localStorage that lets analytics count you once instead of many times. It identifies a browser, not a person, never crosses sites, and clearing site data removes it.

Customer instances

Each customer's juuna runs on a dedicated instance: its own machine and its own database, operated by Muziris. For the analytics data a customer collects with juuna, the customer is the data controller and Muziris is the processor.

  • What an instance stores: events the customer's product sends (pageviews, named events, identify traits), enrichment derived at ingest (coarse geography and network from IP, browser/OS class), and, where the customer enables it, masked session recordings and Web Vitals measurements.
  • Retention by design: raw events are kept about 90 days and session recordings about 30 days by default, then pruned automatically. Aggregates (daily rollups) persist without IPs or personal identifiers.
  • Session recordings never record passwords, mask input values by default, and never store an IP address.
  • Erasure: instance admins can delete every trace of a person (events, identity traits, recordings, including pre-signup anonymous activity) in one transaction, supporting GDPR/CCPA requests.
  • Isolation: no customer's data shares a server, database, or backup with any other customer's.

Subprocessors

  • Hetzner Online GmbH: infrastructure hosting (instances and encrypted off-instance backups).
  • Stripe, Inc.: payment processing (card details are collected and held by Stripe; we never see them).

Your rights

Email us to access, correct, or delete anything we hold about you. If you are a visitor of a site that uses juuna, the site you visited is the controller of that data. Contact them, and we will assist them in fulfilling your request.
